Tess Kenney and I have been blessed to spend time with journalist, Diane Daniels of the Pittsburgh Courier discussing our experiences and approaches to helping individuals and families deal with generational and situational obstacles. We are honored to continue to offer services to our communities. http://newpittsburghcourieronline.com/2014/11/12/handinhand-promoting-hope-health-healing

We are a practice formed on the heels of “America’s Campaign for Mental Health Awareness” and have strived to do our part in encouraging and normalizing the helping relationship within the community.
At HandinHand Counseling Services, LLC, our GOAL is to promote HOPE, HEALTH, and HEALING to individuals and families dealing with generational and situational obstacles.
We see peace in the place of chaos.
We see function where there appears to be dysfunction. Our goal is to tap into the strengths you possess, that are often times masked by life’s complexities through therapeutic intervention and resource building. Let us assist you in bridging the gap between the problem and the solution.
Sharise Nance’s second publication, “Walking the Tight Rope of Life: Refuel, Renew and Re-center Your Work-Life Demands” published by Expected End Entertainment will be released 4/1/12017. The workbook was created and dedicated to individuals in the healthcare and helping profession experiencing difficulty disconnecting from the work day and/or struggling with the emotional, mental and physical fatigue or burnout often associated with this field of work. These individuals give so much, so often and to so many that they often neglect the time needed to invest in their own self care needs. Walking the Tight Rope of Life will encourage these professionals to practice good self-care as well as find renewal in their work in order to experience more balance and satisfaction in their professional and personal lives.
